37th Chorus

i know all the
"low" quarters....
the places most won't
go without friends
strips of bars, porn theaters
bookstores, pawn shops
every town of age has em
the "twin cities" are no different
funny thing though, in these areas
I'm most at home
to my they are streets of
survival, where bread
is hand to mouth...where
the bookie, the cop, the hooker
the blue collar, the addicted
play the same game
livin for just one more
one more day
they are the blessed
there are no other
everyone playin their cards
on the table

Street life

comes thru well here....but the typo where "my" should be "me" in the middle has me wondering if the "playin" should be "layin" at the end? (Just wondering- I,ve made more typos in this comment than you probably did in the entire Feeling Minnesota set.)
