5th Chorus

shiny streets lit by
head lights taillights
on dark drizzly afternoons
exhaust clouds float behind
evaporating like ghosts
empty and lonely these
rainy chilled days
when not even the strongest
liquors can warm a soul
caught somewhere between
yesterday and tomorrow
just temporary travelers
with worn out hearts
too tired to live
too young to die

Like the tone

set by this chorus.Evocative of most of the rest of the chorus'. A solid base, stands on its own.
