The world is full of women
fleshy, needy, greedy women who reject me
who find this outside unattractive and the inside repellent

balls to the walls, unapologetic
bitch with whip that is you.

I flinch from the world.
You rip out its jugular.

Yet you've never turned away from my hungers,
your eyes have never flickered to someone more pleasing,
your mouth has never curled in disgust at my fantasies,
never hung in disappointment at my failures.

My night begins when I feel your tongue probing my eye
My sheets are musky from the sweat you raise along my skin
You bring me the waking nightmare of a ravenous woman
who feasts on me until dawn

I awake with the taste of leather,
blood, and bronze
on the back of my tongue.
In the sunlight, other women laugh
at the drooling, stumbling idiot
you have made of me
while you perch above my bed
