I shiver
as your fingertips
draw upon my skin,
highlighting the me
that you see.

They pull at my inhibitions,
tease my sense of propriety,
incite a fervor,
a wish to believe,
that I am
what you want.

The sheets lay
entangled between my legs,
your breath on my face.

My eyes close,
a sigh escapes,
as I fall deep into
your embrace.
