Fire
We run our fingers over each other's bodies
Creating rivulets of sweat that drip patterns of moisture
between my breasts, over his chest and down my thighs
With each moment I am more alive.
When I think I can stand no more,
a single breeze pushes me further over the edge
Replacing the steam from our pores with shivers
that leave salty trails we erase with our tongues
Thus, we dance the dance of being
singing a speeding melody with our haggard breath
as every molecule vibrates more intensely
in time to the syncopated drumbeats of our hearts
Until his heat rises up into me
filling me wih molten lava
glowing pink through my skin.
While together as one, we grow bigger and bigger
balancing for one moment on the point of infinity
before falling back into the silent calm of sleep

One of many of My meltdown favorite lines, "Until his heat rises up into me with molten lava glowing pink through my skin" just leaves Me breathless and glowing pink Myself! You have painted very erotic images in this poem - and My libido knows it <wink>
