Fires and Passions

byElizabeth_Ashley©

There are fires alight in me,
Why can no one can see?
Burning in ribbons only to die a cold death.
Why? Why can't i find my true breath?

This passion leaps and jumps in me fighting for leave,
There is no freedom in this life, in this form.
My heart is alone, alone in this fight, nothing to do but to grieve,
Someone help, i can't stand this storm!

Why? Why can no one hear?
They all watch and wait, all of them too near, but not to hear.

Flickers of this feeling continue to fight and embers alight,
My life feels so bleak and this fire is so bright but in this, my fire can't survive.
Hear me, Hear my plight!
But no one hears, no one sees, no one comes.
This feeling burns in me so, i thought i could thrive!
But i can't! I am helpless, i am the one that succumbs!
