FIRST DAY OF SPRING

Up in the meadow
At the beginning of spring,
All the beautiful birds
Will begin to sing.

The flowers shall bloom
Under the warm sweet sun,
For winter is now over
And spring has begun.

And all Gods creatures
Shall run and play,
Celebrating the beauty
Of springs first day.

Yes, the snow of winter
Melts throughout the land,
Releasing the hold
Of it’s frozen hand.

The ice shall free
The hidden lakes,
Fill the streams
And rivers it makes.

For the beginning of life
Is what it shall bring,
Giving us all it’s beauty
Yes, this first day of spring…BWL
