his touch so tentative
filling her vision with
boiling red rage
he caresses her softly
and green bile chokes
he stands to show his love
she tries to run from
his purple hideousness
her ankle caught
she fades to black.

hmmm...

This poem is about child sexual abuse. I am sometimes amazed at what seems so clear to me appears to be something else entirely to others.
