A long time ago
With every breath
And sigh
I was yours
My heart knew your secrets
My tongue
Your taste
I knew your heart
That it was mine
As mine was yours
When we held hands
I could not tell
Your fingers from mine
And when we kissed
Our tongues entwined
Like vines that twist

In awe of you
