My ass may be raw and broken

My shoulder still sore from the bite

But those words that were once left unspoken

Have ripped darkness away from the night

The thoughts that I have are still foggy

But my eyes only see the ideal

The sheets are all crumpled and soggy

But my mind's opened up to what's real

At last I have found the horizon

At last I can see the way home

The purest thing I have ever laid eyes on

And at last I can rest from the roam

Close your eyes now and lie back merry

Let the silence seep through your pores

I can tell as you gently untie me

You're already dreaming up more
