Sweet dreams, He whispers, comforting.
Sleep descends only when folded arms
Gently embrace my breasts.
Wrists cross my heart, chin tucked in.
Fingertips delicately rest on clavicle.
Thumbs lay side by side upon my throat.
Tender collar, hence I sleep.

I wake in shadows, lie so still.
Silent night, eyes tight shut.
Haunting fears and memories
Drowning me in darkness.
He beckons, and I am safe.
Thumbs lay side by side upon my throat.
Tender collar, whilst I dream.

Dawn, timeless morning
Stirs me in His midst, as
Shadows sketch, depict, implore,
Awakens, requisitions, dares to seize.
Instead He finds me, kneeling where
Thumbs lay side by side upon my throat.
Tender collar, devotedly I wait.

Space undefined, caressing time.
Bare truths, hunger, yearning still,
Famine rivals yesterday, again.
Sweet submission, nourish Him
Warm breath renews, resuscitates.
Thumbs lay side by side upon my throat
Tender collar, adoringly I serve.

Sunrise summons, directs, effects.
Emergence, mission, duty calls.
He bids me leave, reluctantly.
Refreshed, revived, now complete.
Click by the hours, sunset soon.
Thumbs lay side by side upon my throat
Tender collar, as I listen.

Sweet Dreams, He whispers.
