I am a vesper in the winds of time
Floating above myself I see everything in clear radiance.
Where am I now? I mean I know who I am...
But where am I?
Radiance, a white brilliance around me
I look for the horizon and its just beyond me.
I panic and a fear grips me
And I feel myself falling, free-fall.
The radiance vanishes and darkness surrounds me
Then the heat washes over me, like the damnation of hell
That soon passes as I fall into the coldest of oceans.
And yet I don't sink.
Floating......
Floating Me.
Floating the past, present and future...
Tangents. Intangible tangents.
And suddenly it is clear...
I float cause I live.
When I die I will sink to the fathomless bottom
Until then....
I float on the currents of life.
