There is no word for mist in Spanish,
then I will write in English.
Mist is a sweet word, while fog is strong,
and for the layman both are the same,
but for me they are not,
no, they are not,
not really quite.

Fog means danger, and threat,
and wrecked cars in the highway.
Mist is mystery, is coziness,
is intimacy.

Fog builds an impenetrable wall,
makes me feel the loneliness,
the desperation,
of not having you besides me.

Fog take us apart,
Mist creates a shelter
where our love blossom,
allows me to held you tightly,
makes me bless the
feeling of you and me
alone in the universe:
just you and me.

And when the day is foggy,
as it is today, I miss you,
I miss you every moment,
every word I type,
every time I look through my window.

The best I can do is to hear
your voice...
and then sometimes,
I can't even do that.

My beloved, turn fog
into mist, make me feel
your warm and tender body,
let's get naked and make love,
in the middle of the mist.

A True Romantic

Beautifully written, elegant, endearing. You have a way with words. Your poetry is beyond Literotica so unless you're already published elsewhere, I urge you to publish these poems. This one had a rather melancholy yearning but it's very true to the old-fashioned romantic idea of pining or really wanting someone, and not just for sex. This is marvelous.
