Silence in waiting, waiting forever.
Even the snake at the back of a meaty frame
Vacated ever long ago leaving just a bite
With enough venom to drip down wires
Wires that were once there
Attached to a feeling that died
Darkness downwardly divergent from a giddy gliding glow
Given so much, self blame ensues, all for the worse
Never to make a mistake the same again
Crush you away, never repeating but forever pretending too
Make believe Crying, imagination of something that was funny,
Act as if you were eye-catching
Play as though there were friends and enemies whose opinion mattered anymore
The appreciation of the listener follows
For Morals truly, positively, honestly, sincerely fail.
