I thought about you today
I know that I shouldn’t
I promised myself that I wouldn’t
but I did

and all those old feelings
those ones I’ve kept hidden
came rushing back in

and It was like you’d left me
all over again
I was that same fool
all over again

and it hit me so hard that it took my breath away
that same way you used to do
and I couldn’t breath
but I didn’t want to
