We tread paths that lead us down unforeseen directions,
Our lives are filled daily by decisions
These decisions either have the propensity for harm,
Or the will to do good.
Every day we seek the right path,
We wish to do right by ourselves.
Every day we step upon sands of time,
Time quickens as each moment passes
Like shifting sands in a desert,
Never does the desert sands stay the same,
For it like our own lives constantly change.
We live by our decisions as much as we breath the air around us,
Each decision whether correct or wrong teaches us,
Like footsteps on shifting sands,
Life is a constant movement.
Sometimes one must surrender to their future
Like the sands of a desert surrender to the winds of time
