Shine on twinkling star
Far away shining above
Shine on twinkling star
Look down on me with love
For though this day is fraught with grief
I get through it in the sure belief
That though our lives are filled with pain
I will survive to love again
The most asked question is why?
I feel so helpless, all I can do is cry
I feel the pain, the blinding rage
Of the loss of someone at such a young age
My pain and grief go very deep
But precious memories are mine to keep
Through the bitterness and the pain
I am reminded yet again
That my little brother with the angelic face
Will make heaven a brighter and happier place
For though we are separated by miles
I think of your precious smile
And I dream of the time when
We will be together once again
So my twinkling star burn brightly above
Always to be fuelled by a big sisters love.
