His tall sure step
His confidant secure style
i watch Him across the room
i know He feels my smile

He turns to me, i duck my head
blushing for being caught watching
but i know He's smiling, happy to see
that He's caught me by doing nothing

my cheeks aflame, my head bowed
His hand under my chin
lifting my head, i see His face
i see His satisfied grin

He kisses my forehead, so gently
softly reminding me to raise my head
for He's proud of me, He cares for me
and that's what He's always said

i kneel by His side, as He takes my chair
my head upon His knee
my arms wrapped around His leg
my submission for all to see

we came to this gathering together
we will leave together as well
no one will question our devotion
they see our love surrounding us as a shell
