You've been gone for many years.
Everyone near you shed their tears.

I miss your smile and your screams.
Teaching me what life really means.

You stood by me through thick and thin.
Rather than dump me in a garbage bin.

You were my friend and worst enemy.
Always alert and keeping an eye on me.

We did many things you and I.
Plenty of items for us to buy.

Everyday I wish you were here.
Sometimes I feel you ever so near.

You were strong, you were a fighter.
Having you around made my day brighter.

We had our problems in the past.
We knew our hate would never last.

We traveled together, every dime spent.
Looking back at every place we went.

Wherever I go I think of you.
You and I will always be two.

I hope you're happy wherever you are.
Shining as bright as the northern star.

I reminisce every thing we'd done.
I have to admit it was a lot of fun.

Every single day I miss you more.
Life has become a bit of a bore.

One of these days we will reunite.
Any sickness, I'm ready for a fight.

When the day comes and I am too weak.
My eyes will close and I'll hear you speak.

I wish we were back in the good old days.
The memories of you stay with me always.

Now I say goodnight to thee.
Say hello to the family for me.
