A million cries heard across the land

So many lives lost to a cowardly hand

I pray to all Gods that those I love are okay

Nothing will ever make the images go away

The tears of those who survived this horrible act

Too late now for them to retract

Rage burns deep within our souls and hearts

It will take forever for the memories to depart

The sadness and loss too imeasurable to count

The flames burn through the night, refusing to go out

Blood in our eyes, seeking out revenge

You cannot do this to us, our cries a painful twinge

You will be made to pay for these evil acts of greed

For we always come together in a desperate time of need

Hide beneath your beds, shaking with cowardly fear

Know that soon you time too will be near

And I would like to call out to all of my fellow man

Hold your heads up high, together we can stand

All of my love and blessings go out to everyone

Who stands in silence, and calls America home.
