It seems my time has come
to enter into God's kingdom,

So I want you all to know
there was this beautiful glow,

Like nothing I had ever seen before,
it wrapped itself around me
and delivered me to heaven's door,

Angels welcomed me with open wings,
then showed me the beauty in all things.

It was then I heard your cries,
I wanted to come and dry your eyes

To tell you of this wondrous glory I had found,
where love, peace and happiness are abound,

but alas I could not return,

There was so much I had to learn,

For my job on earth was done,
but my new assignment had just begun.

An angel whispered in my ear,
all the ones you love so dear
pull them close and keep them near,

For it is your job to watch over them,
like they are the finest of all gems.

I know right now your hearts are broken
but fear not my loved ones,
I hear your words unspoken.

You have to look inside your heart
to see we could never really, be apart.

And even though you may not know
I'm still alive.... right here....Hello.

The memories we've shared
is where I reside and roam free
so please don't be scared,
no......not for me.

I am with you wherever you go
and love you more than you will ever know.

So dry your eyes and weep no more
because I'm much better off than I was before.

I've been given wings so now I can soar,
floating, drifting, flying high
just like a dove up in the sky

If you ever feel uptight,
look into the dark of night,
when you find the brightest light,
then you will know I'm in your sight.
