The warrior lays quiet
Settled in his chosen place,
To be hallowed and remembered
'Til journeys end.
I had known him well
Traveled in his company,
Let him carry me so lovingly

With heavy heart I wait
Counting the passing breaths,
Sharing memories that will remain
