Kneels by the river
Listening to the sounds of the camp
she drifts in the warm sun, thoughts of Him ever present
Suddenly she feels arms around her
Is it a dream?
Is it real?
Unsure but feeling safe & warm
The arms wrapped around her like a warm blanket
Safe, warm, loved and wanted
Suddenly cheek wet, she realises she is weeping
Not tears of sadness, but tears of submission
Of the eternal love
Tears of joy
Tears of hope
Love for Him
So strong, so true
like a blade cutting through butter
Like the arrow true and strong
A smell what is it?
she opens her eyes
And their He is
Holding her, wiping away her tears
her Prince
her Master
her Lover
her Friend
He whispers
" I love you My girl"
