Normally I write in abstract
Weighing thoughts up ruthlessly
Hoping to alleviate some evil
Make sense of the senseless
Today my cause is different

No pretty phrases tripping lightly
Eased from a butter spread tongue
Needless sounds are wasted
Angels hear silent prayers
Maybe its enough to say
This is for you.
Shaking of the cobwebs of yesterday
The night still buzzing in my ears
Words all seem so hollow
When dreams are close at hand
Punctuating all my thoughts
This is for you.
How I want to capture
In a sentence or a phrase
Every little moment
Each look, each smile
Yet all that really matters is

If in failure I can endure
Success must send me soaring
High into the stratosphere
To ride on comets tails
