I am lying to myself
to say that once is enough.
To taste of that fruit
is to forever crave it’s sweetness.
The silent words whisper no
while my shouting heart grows louder.
‘Do not deny your hungry soul.’
To take away that sugared tang from my tongue
once tasted, would leave only bitterness in its wake.

Very nice...

a tightly woven metaphor with an excellent flow. An erotic taste indeed. Very good...
