Although I am unable to call you only mine,
Hopefully in the future there will be a time.
Until then I'll wait for you my dear,
And for a time when our love can run clear.

Everyday I hope and I pray,
To rise and see you before the fall of the day.
But this I fear may never be true,
However it doesn’t stop me from loving you.

All night I lay awake and think of you,
Our forbidden love, yearning for truth.
And when the sun comes up and I work in the day,
The thought of your face is never far away.

And when I can sleep, and dreams come to me,
I dream of such beauties, its you who I see.
We dance and we sing, all through the night,
Until morning arrives and you fade in the light.

I promise to stay loyal, I want only you,
Sometime in the future I hope for this to be true.
My heart aches as I sit here alone,
Thinking of you in your far away home.
