Never expected for you to see
The thing we had in between
The feeling that has always been
Keeping our hearts connected
A thousand words reflected
In the warmth of that smile
When you were walking down the aisle
Willing to be my wife
Filling joy to my empty life
I held those eyes, not to let go ever
With a promise to be kept Forever.
