When the setting sun

bleeds its last

on the darkening sky

and the wind picks up and whispers

in my ear and the fading light reflects in my narrowed eye..I know youre getting nearer

and i wait with mounting desire

wait til the day slowes down and the its golden breath expires

slippling thru th edarkness silent as a cat

I wait while my medium glows

like a witch scrying

with so much need in my bones

til you appear

I breathe

your essence in

smiling in the dark

I let down my hair with only you

my spirit to yours

soaring together forever in the night
