"Forgiven Sin"

Drifting along
out on a lake
and showing the world
I've had all I can take

peacefully face down
under trees filled with autumn
but it all goes unnoticed
I'm facing the bottom

It doesn't surprise me
My life's been like that
I've been tumbling through it
like a blind acrobat

the cold dark black water
has seeped deep within
as it marries my soul
and washes my sin

will I be forgiven
I already am
I have talked to my savior
and he don't give a damn
