Fragments

bySubTulip©

Her heart aches, she feels like she is bleeding inside, the talons of lost love shredding her once beautiful light.

She walks around in a hapless haze, numb inside most of her days.
Apart from the pain and it’s never ending destruction of her once happy and trust filled ways.

A pail shade of the woman she once was, she’s broken inside from all of life’s dross.
Trust given and broken like a shattered glass her once whole heart is fragmented from the blast.

She’d cut her wrists and end life’s torment.
Watching as her life’s blood flows like a river of release bringing her a painless peace.
But alas she thinks they will not take that last piece, so she trojans on with no release.

Trapped in her broken body for the rest of her days, she hopes her life will be short In all it’s ways.

Life’s game seems pointless and brings her nothing but tears.

As she soldiers through the quagmire of it all to the silver lining when she finally falls.

That day with her last breath she will smile knowing she made it to her natural death.
