My demons to rest I'll finally lay
I just pray things will go my way
Anxiety and tension grows more and more
I just hope that I'll steadfast and sure

This battle alone I may have to fight
But I'll find a way to set things right
When all is said and all is done
In the victory there can only be one

In the end I'll stay a while
And I'll look on with no more than a smile
My burdens are lifted, I'm free at last
At long last I can let go of the past
