Click hereAuthor’s note. This poem is to all my friends at Literotica. It is dedicated to my muse, FallingToFly, who inspired the words and has been a gracious friend since my very first day on the forums of Literotica.
FRIEND
And this I’ve found upon the earth:
That friends make life worth living.
And lest we lose this fondest part,
It’s love we best be giving.
If I could be what e’er I want
I’d choose to be a friend.
Engrave upon my granite stone
When life on earth doth end,
And make the letters bold and clear,
These words: ”He was my friend.”
