I had a dream while walking my yard
I was bitten by a snake,
You sucked out the venom
But it was probably to late
I looked around me
And saw things that I knew
People and places
And the friends were so few
My dad was so old
That he couldn’t help
And his mother was there
In an earn on the shelf
You were gone again
Not to be found
Because I woke up
To an all familiar sound
What does it mean
This dream of mine
That it’s simply not finished
Or that you’re not to find
I guess I’ll never know
The true meaning of you
But I will always remember
The friends were so few
