I see the word "divine"
painted in the corner
It is not there, but I see it anyway
Peripheral vision has always betrayed, amused,
inspired, perhaps driven me to acts of the sublime
(no, ridiculous)

sending me barefoot into blue ice glaciers
mindless, with neither reason nor intent
perhaps just to be able to come back home
savor the pain of the thaw
or add pseudo-depth to my self-reflection
what inner workings possessed me do such a thing?

Focus on the center
on the center
until the itch comes again
until the claws grow back
scratch a new sign
corner of my eye
edging me edging me "go"

your spirit

is what possesses you. I rather like your spirit. Keep writing and thanks for sharing.
