The fire of love between friends and fears;
The perdition of angles leaves only tears;
The hate of a loss as time slowly nears;
The reward of a lifetime, yet inwardly seers.

A curse or a blessing is this friendship we bear?
Is it enough to tell them you love and you care?
Are these colors enough? Or on your soul do they wear?
How much do you tell? Is it too much you dare?

Friendships alone, are the trickiest kind.
Some things you might say, and wish could rewind.
The process of knowing, as your souls start to bind.
These fears and these secrets, that you hope not to find,

Are only making a gap, in the love that you share.
To expose these in numbers is something quite rare,
But I promise, your friends will be the best in the world;
If the secrets you're hiding, are before them unfurled.

So I beg you my friends, to tell me it all;
I won't even let your standing with me downward fall.
If you're ever in need, you know who to call.
A friend I will be from the road to the wall.
