I lie awake just to feel the passing days change
The chemical imbalance as the world's side shades
The faded moon gazes down on the rich luscious glades
As the blazing sun frays the dry soil for days
A hazy cloud plays above a ruffled tranquil bay
And a maze of sea foam separates for squalls and hurricanes
A trained cirrus cloud crosses a cold front’s ray
As it strays, encroaching on the warm front's plains
A battle waged in the skies where Gods are slain
And every drop of rain explains the heavens empty veins
Thunderous grenades invade blue flags in the name of grey
But every ray of light waits to melee holes of decay
They pray but the clouds aren’t easily persuaded to lay
So they shy away and sway their tactics to a barricade
The hearts and spades were played and laid out in shame
And the death of the shady degraded invaders ended the game
