frozen vodka
numbing limbs
leaving memories
too vivid

your hands in my hair
mouth branding my skin
words you whisper
hot and hard in the dark

slick cold slides past my tongue
fangs of aftertaste biting deep
another swallow and one more
hide that need with this other

nerves still tingle
anticipating your return
glass upon glass
still your memory cannot shatter
