I found a dagger in my heart

 It wasn't there before

I'm not sure where it came from

But I'm pretty sure it's yours

I didn't see it happen

 Although I must admit

I wasn't really watching

And I walked right into it

Your hand's not on the hilt

There is no blame to lay

I wish it hadn't happened

That's all I have to say

And now I have to deal

With this pain that grips me whole

Knowing that you're going

 Tearing at my soul

I never asked for this

 This twisted branch of fate

The sucking empty gloom

I rose right to the bait

And now I think I need you

 With a passion never known

A burning crimson need

For those chances I have blown....  Fuck.
