lorencinoover 14 years agoI think this poem rivals the original Williams poem. It has the immediacy of the imagist poetry that Williams championed and it implies a universe of ideas that lie behind the imagery. It is as though you have turned the tables on Williams in using his poetic theories to deflate some of the aura of perfection that surrounds the legendary poet—restoring his humanity.
