Sometimes I wonder,
If we are all just destined to play a part,
If we can change our roles,
And alter the course of time.
Is it all just a dream,
A fantasy made up of the clouds of desire,
Or can it be real,
Can it really come true?

For I don't wish to simply be,
But to actually embrace life.
But the desperate search for acceptance,
And the cloak of society,
Have shielded me from myself.
Without the norms of my mother,
Without the fear of illicitness,
Without the terror of tomorrow,
Who knows what the day would bring?

So instead of simply standing on the stage,
I will gather myself and take flight,
Above the doubts and repercussions,
To where I can see my thoughts clearly.
Strip naked and bear my soul,
Become the person who seizes,
The future and bends it to my will.

Needs a little

Here is your very low:

Strip naked and bear my soul,

A sad line, used too many times, and how can it be bear, when I don't see any fur? (bare)

But,

points for consistency.
