Should I live to see the mystery
Of Gaia's old history
And see the terror of what man's technology
Has wrought upon the Earth?

She cries out to me
One of her children
"Come and witness..come and see"
What has been done
To Mother Earth
To me!

I am torn apart
For the shiny things I hold
For my sparkly trinkets
To hang from my ill bought gold.

My little ones
Ripped from the sea
Thier crime?
Man could not let them be.

Poisons poured
Into my brooks and streams
Money the eternal lure
But can you hear the screams?

The screams of the wordless
The helpless and blameless
But men, you see
Some are just shameless.

They care not for the fish in the sea
For the bird weighted down with oil
Unable to flee.

I warn you now
I warn you all
Cease...you're heading for a fall.

The fall will be swift
And the fall will be great
You think the animals will care for you
Care of your fate?

I say to thee
No,They will not.
For when you are gone
Their freedom is bought.
