--darkness tumbling
over bare bark grasping
the last wet leaves.
it’s hailing now
and last night I dreamt of suited connectors
after I drove him home.
at three a.m. I sped through town
empty and muttering to myself
about three weeks of rain
and my inability to go all-in.

guess I'm not a gambler....

what are "suited connectors"? And can darkness "tumble"?
