Pregnant with more water
than all the Earth's oceans,

watched by her mother's
jealous red eye,

what dark dreams float
in the blackness of her womb?

Wonderful

Simple yet heavy with the implications of what may be, this is the kind of stuff that really gets me going. 'Watched by her mother's jealous red eye' is a great line, especially in the context of the poem, but also on its own.
