Gelfet, sitting beside an open fireplace,
the flames dancing shadows upon her face,
the smoke entwines itself through her brazen hair,
but into the ember of love, her eyes stare.

Darkness surrounds her with a quiet embrace,
all but the firelight on warming face,
reflecting back wonder from sparkling eye,
desires of the heart slip slowly by.

Slipping into her mind and into her soul,
a quiet abandon will loose control.
The mysteries, the thoughts, all that she’ll see,
will break her regard and set her mind free.

Until new dawn comes creeping and warm,
sliding into her memories to quieten the storm,
fresh airs of love, open wide doors,
to find Gelfet asleep by the fireplace, ever yours

(for all those in lit. May you find your way, may you find your place, may you find happiness)
