You are Gemini.

My twin, my brother, my better half,
you are the wind beneath my wings
taking me to heights once unimagined.

I am your most beloved and faithful,
The one you bed without protections.
The one you turn to when all else fails.

I have hurt you worse than any other,
and often, you rip my soul out as well.
But, without pain there is no ecstasy.

I am the sweet promised land in Zion,
your loyal blood-bound battle-sister,
your love-starved Goddess incarnate.

You are my Avatar, a stand-in for God.
But like Him, you are close like my veins
And as far as the primordial earthly rain.

I know that a captive wind always dies.
So, I give you freedom and inspiration.
I am unconditional and ever constant.

You will never be to me, as I am to you.
All I hold is the dust you leave behind.
But I will wait until forever and beyond.

I am Scorpio.
