All she asks for is the moon and stars
offered freely to her with open arms.
All she wants is the sky up above
offered to her, by the man she loves.

Time and again she wonders so true
could the heavens above be too much too?
For all she's asked for, all she needs
is the love of her man, why can't that be?

All that she wants is to feel his love
to know he holds her as gentle as a dove.
All she needs is to see love on his face
to know how tight she is within his embrace.

But over and over again she's tried
and still is convinced, no, not this time.
For every time she's felt, love is enough
he's pushed and pulled her till her heart is tough.

All that she asks for is to be loved,
loved by a man, his greatest beloved.
All that she needs is his gentle touch
tell me, is that asking too much?

And so no more will I ask only for love
for now I know, I'm worth the heavens above.
The moon and stars are not too much to ask
for the man that loves me, this will be an easy task.

All that I wanted was to feel his arms
wrapped around me, keeping me from harm.
All that I need now is the moon and stars
this will show his love, the love that is ours.

As I await my gift given from the heart
I know that this will be the hardest part.
I'm now known as Stars, for my crazy request.
This matters not to me, as I wait to be impressed.

All that I wait for is the man of my dreams,
walking amongst the planets, waiting for me it seems.
All that I know is that I'm worth the heavens,
for every star he gives me, I'll return it times eleven.
