Glance To The Past

A glance to the past,
Simply can’t last,
A flash through the trees,
Shows me the key,
The secret to a story,
Locked up and hidden,
Until someone is bidden,
To open it up,
Read story untold,
Find secrets,
Hear whispers,
See smiles,
Watch tears,
Feel treasures,
But now it is past,
Fading away,
The story is gone,
To be found at another time.

I'm not a

big reader of poetry but I liked this one. Nicely done.
