I know you young Adventurer
I know your spirit's name
as you set out on this quest
yet you do it not for fame or money
you do it for it is Right
and thus you must Prevail.
You do it for the Friendship and Camaraderie
your partners give you.
And the joy of conquering a tough Challenge
with your friends there to celebrate.
And though you never speak
we know what you would say.
"Love and Friendship can Conquer all"
Even when it's a tower full of douchebags who have nothing better to do than to beat up on a kid and his pets and then fail at even keeping you out of a locked room that they provide a key for!

MissElf1almost 13 years agoThe beginning of this poem was inspirational and serious to me. Then the word "douchebags" made me laugh, but when I quit laughing and continued to read I was sad to hear of the abuse. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions by one poem.
I had not realized you had posted more poems. I'll be sure to read the rest when I can.
