Descending twilight
Haunting colors fading to night
A depthless sea of black
Now there's no turning back.

Burning traces
Heart giving in to stasis
Though lovers try
To take me high

Spaces inside
Please don't hide
Are you waiting for me?
I beg, let me see..

This existance is hell without you
Taken before dreams came true
The day I found out you'd gone
Ashes were falling all around me,
Symbols of my life gone wrong

Cruel fate
Bringing you to me
Then snatching you away
Oh, why didn't you stay?

( Not one of my best. )
