Kiddo,
listen up

before you
bang your drum
to tear down skies
that heeds no master

before you
falter and trade
your granted parade
for a bittersweet taste
of adventures unheard

before you
live too many ticks
on credit karma clicks
in the limelight
of others

before you
steal my worn down
sand and sewer soaked

bloodstained boots

walk a mile
in your own
damn shoes
first.

Errors, schmerrors

you'll fix em, it's a minor thing, but the poem is a delight--direct and almost breezy sounding and yet so definite. :)

listen to the fish

and get those fixed. Because those typos aside, it's an interresting idea, written with both style and wit. "credit karma clicks", I like that.
